NRSG 315 - Conceptual Foundations of Professional Nursing for RNs (4)

Prerequisites: ENGL 102, ENGL 101, CPTR 105, CHEM 111 or equivalents, a current RN License, and admission to the program.
14 week course.
This course focuses on concepts, communication skills, and issues related to baccalaureate level nursing practice, nursing models, and the formation of a personal philosophy of nursing. This 4 credit course includes both theory and several clinical assignments.  This course meets the requirement for a written communication course (see Communications Requirements in the Academic section of the Academic Catalog.)
