President of the University

The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the University and is responsible to the University Board of Trustees for all phases of the University’s operation.  The President chairs all business sessions of the President’s Council and is an ex-officio member of all standing and ad hoc committees.  In consultation with other University administrators the President is responsible for recommending an annual budget to the University Board of Trustees and for the approval of all expenditures provided for in that budget.  The President also recommends to the Board an annual professional salary schedule for all University faculty. As CEO, the President leads in the planning and execution of the institution’s strategic vision.

Provost

The Provost is responsible to the University President for the supervision and direction of all academic activities at the University. The Provost chairs the Academic Policies Committee and all Graduate Department Chairs report directly to the Provost on all academic matters. 

Senior Vice President for Finance

The Senior Vice President is responsible to the University President for the financial operations of the University including, but not limited to, student accounts, financial aid, and University financial records. This individual is responsible to the President for the day-to-day operational needs of the institution. The responsibilities of this position include the physical plant, maintenance, and environmental services. This individual is also responsible for the information technology department, the University bookstore, and the N.E.S.S. café.

Senior Vice President for Student Services

The Senior Vice President for Student Services is responsible to the President for the overall quality of student life on campus.  This individual has administrative responsibility for student discipline, student housing, alumni, security, transportation, and general student services.

Vice President for Marketing & Public Relations

The Vice President for Marketing & Public Relations is responsible to the President for the marketing to and recruitment of new students.  In addition, this individual oversees Enrollment Management and public relations for the University.

Vice President for Educational Technology

The Vice President for Educational Technology is responsible to the Provost for Academic Affairs for the direction of the online education programs as well as coordinating the educational technology at the University.

Vice President for Academic Administration

The Vice President for Academic Administration is responsible to the Provost for the supervision and direction of all undergraduate educational activities of the University. All undergraduate Department Chairs report to this individual. The Vice President is also responsible for handling student academic issues and appeals, acting as liaison with the Forest Lake Health Academy and overseeing the dual enrollment program. In addition, Registrar’s Office and the Library report to this individual. 

Assistant to the President for Mission

The Assistant to the President for Mission is responsible to the University President to oversee the Institute for Healthcare as Ministry, Convocation, Colloquium, and Pulse Week.  The Chaplains report to the Assistant to the President. 

Chief Operations Officer for Online Education

The Chief Operations Officer for Online Education is responsible to the President to develop and implement short and long-range strategic plans to advance the University’s mission in online learning.  The Chief Operations Officer for Online Education is also responsible for advising and collaborating with the Provost and other members of the ADU academic team on development, implementation, and delivery of all online courses and programs. 

Chief Compliance Officer

The Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to the President to oversee institutional compliance with Federal and State regulations including Title IX sexual anti-discrimination and Campus SaVE Act anti-violence federal laws.  In addition, this individual is responsible for the management of the Human Resources Department, and therefore serves as the liaison between ADU and Florida Hospital Human Resources Department.
