19. Remuneration

19.1 Annual Salary

The annual salary schedule recommended by ADU Administration and voted by the Board of Trustees is established after a market analysis using CUPA, Mercer, Gallagher Integrated, and Towers Watson information.

 

19.2 Level Advancement/Rank Promotion

Level Advancement can be awarded every year in recognition of consistency of performance within the current rank as determined and documented by the Annual Faculty Evaluation. (See Ranks ). Rank Promotion is granted in recognition that the faculty member has met the criteria of the next academic rank. Those criteria include mission, teaching/education, scholarship, service, and citizenship. (See Ranks ).

A level advancement/rank promotion is accompanied by a salary increase. The salary schedule set by the Board of Trustees shall define the salary ranges within each of the levels of the four academic ranks.
