Mode of Course Delivery


F2F* BLENDED HYBRID ONLINE

All activities and instruction occur in person in a “traditional brick and mortar” classroom / physical space. Technology is not used as a primary instructional tool.

F2F delivery is enhanced or complimented with a small amount of web-based resources or activities (<20%). Technology is used to facilitate activities, assess students, or deliver content. Minimal reduction in F2F meeting time.

Online and face-to-face activities and instruction are integrated. The amount of F2F meeting time is reduced substantially. 

A significant portion (40%-79%) of the delivery is online with the remaining portion F2F.

An educational process that is characterized by the separation, in time or place, between instructor and student and supports regular and substantive interaction between the students and instructor, either synchronously or asynchronously. All or almost all (>80%) of the primary content, instruction, activities, and interactions occur online.
