Degree Requirements: Associate of Science

The degree requirements for an Associate of Science degree are as follows:

1. Completion of at least 60 semester credit hour requirements for graduation.

• Completion of 15 credits of the general education curriculum requirement.

• Completion of the pre-requisite (pre-major) course requirements, if applicable.

• Completion of the course requirement for the declared major, to satisfy the total credit requirement for graduation.

• Completion of the religion requirement.

• Courses completed with grades lower than “C” (2.00) will not be applied towards the degree.

2. Completion of the major with a cumulative grade point average as required by each program.

3. Completion of a minimum of 50% of the total required hours for the degree earned in residence at AdventHealth University.

4. Meet the specific requirements of each major as outlined in the departmental sections of this Academic Catalog.

5. Completion to the service-learning requirement, if applicable (refer to the Service-Learning Requirement section in the Academic Catalog  ). 

6. Completion of the degree within the appropriate time limits (refer to the Time Limits for Completion of a Program section in the Academic Catalog).
