This Handbook is designed to acquaint the faculty of AdventHealth University (AHU) with policies, practices, and benefits as they exist at the time of publication. The information herein is believed to be accurate, but the University reserves the right to make such changes as circumstances demand and to alter, revise, or eliminate specific policies, practices, and benefits at any time.

AdventHealth University, Inc. (University) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Adventist Health System/Sunbelt, Inc. (doing business as AdventHealth Orlando). Thus, AHU employees are employees of AdventHealth (see Ownership and Administration section) and are, therefore, essentially covered by the AdventHealth Orlando Employee Handbook. However, additional benefits and responsibilities accrue to those employees working at AdventHealth University, and this handbook is addressed specifically to their differing benefits and responsibilities.
