NRSG 150 - Mental Health Nursing (3)

Prerequisites: NRSG 105 , NRSG 130 , BIOL 102 , BIOL 225  
Corequisite: NRSG 140 , NRSG 135  
This course focuses on the application of the nursing process in the provision of primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention related to environmental stressors. ASN students will provide care in the acute care and community environments for the client experiencing designated stressors affecting the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, developmental, and spiritual variables across the life span. This course includes 2.2 credit hours of theory (33 clock hours), and 0.8 credit hour of clinical (36 clock hours).
