Mission Statement

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program seeks to provide an environment where students may develop expertise in the fields of General and Cardiovascular Ultrasound integrated with Christian values. The goal of the program is to develop individuals who display a high level of competence and professionalism who will serve the sonography profession, the field of healthcare, and the community.

Licensure and Accreditation

“The program is designed to prepare students to sit for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) examinations.”

 

Since the program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), 1361 Park Street, Clearwater, Florida 33756, (727) 210-2350, graduates will be eligible to sit for the national examinations upon successful completion of the program.
