SONO 221 - Sonography Physics and Instrumentation II (3)

Prerequisites: SONO 211  
A study of the various components of sonographic instrumentation and the application of this technology.  This course also includes discussion of transducer technology and its applications.  Imaging artifacts will also be explored to include those which occur in 2D imaging, spectral and color Doppler.  Test Validation will be explored. A comprehensive review and examination will be administered at the end of this course covering topics included in SONO 211  and SONO 221.
