PHTH 730 - Neuroscience I (4) This course examines human neuroanatomy with an emphasis on the central (CNS) and
peripheral (PNS) nervous systems and the basic functions therein. This course reviews
neurophysiology of the CNS, PNS, and autonomic nervous system, and examines the basic
principles of neuroembryology and neuroplasticity. The course includes anatomical study of the
brain and spinal cord including tracks and nuclei in the anatomy laboratory as well as the
functions of the cranial nerves. Fall
