PHTH 832 - Neuromuscular II (4) This course further examines the principles and application of the physical therapy patient/client management model to common neuromuscular diagnoses and builds on content introduced in Neuromuscular I. Additional topics include current research on brain function, motor development, and specific theoretical models of neurorehabilitation (e.g., motor control and motor learning), as well as the application of these within clinical settings. Practical application of examination, evaluation, and intervention techniques, as well as problem-solving situations for individuals across the lifespan are provided in the laboratory sections and case studies to further illustrate clinical relevance.
