PHRM 524 - Pharmacology in Nurse Anesthesia (3)
Prerequisites: PHRM 523 This course examines the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of anesthetic and accessory drugs used in anesthesia practice. Receptor site physiology, mechanisms of action, factors modifying drug effects, toxicity, and indications and contraindications for use are emphasized. Principles of biochemistry are integrated.
