BIOL 822 - Clinical Pathophysiology II (2)
Prerequisites: Successful completion of all DPT Program coursework in prior terms. This course reviews the principles of human physiology and examines the pathologic processes that alter the human body’s performance. The course will provide the student with an understanding of structural adaptations and functional responses of cells, tissues, organs, and systems, specifically the cardiovascular, pulmonary, renal, hepatic, hematological, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and integumentary systems. The student will develop the ability to relate clinical manifestations of pathophysiologic changes as they apply to the physical therapist.
