DNAP 741 - Clinical Orientation I (1)

This course is one of two courses that builds on the didactic material from the first two trimesters directed toward preparation for clinical anesthesia. This course includes presentations by DNAP CRNA faculty, some clinical preceptor representatives, SRNA graduate teaching assistants, AH OR leaders, and a workshop regarding appropriate assertive perioperative communication techniques. The course also requires students to reflect on the on-site orientations to various clincial sites that occurred during the Fall trimester. The classroom components are concentrated during the end of the fall trimester and the week following the Fall trimester final examinations.
