Mission Statement
The Department of Health Humanities and Social Sciences emphasizes whole person care by teaching students to view health through the lens of the humanities and social sciences, so they become practitioners who recognize that a patient is greater than their diagnosis and a healthcare provider is more than a technician.
The department offers one associate of science and three bachelor’s degrees. Additionally, it offers general education classes to students seeking to enroll or who are enrolled in professional programs.
