NRSG 135 - Pharmacology in Nursing (3)

Prerequisites: BIOL 102 , BIOL 225 , NRSG 105 , NRSG 130  
Corequisite: NRSG 150 , NRSG 180    
This course introduces pharmacology related to the actions of drugs, therapeutic and adverse effects, and food and interactions of these drugs used to treat acute and chronic illnesses. Emphasis is placed on various nursing and client educational content related to pharmacotherapy. Calculations of medication doses and various routes of administration will be discussed. This course includes three credit hours of theory (45 clock hours).
