SONO 219 - Vascular Principles (2)

Prerequisites: SONO 105 , SONO 136 , SONO 211  
Corequisite: SONO 107 , SONO 125 , SONO 221  
This course will provide an overview of the vascular system, including arteries, veins, and hemodynamics.  Key topics will include identifying normal and abnormal vasculature, including abdominal Doppler.  This course will also emphasize patient care, safety, and the use of ultrasound in surgical planning and intervention.  Labs will be included to aid in both didactic and technical vascular development.
