DNAP 742 - Clinical Orientation 2 (1)

Prerequisites: DNAP 700c , DNAP 720 , DNAP 730  
Corequisite: DNAP 725 , DNAP 738C , RELB 510   
This course is designed to be an on-site orientation to the clinical residency portion of the curriculum. The course builds upon didactic content from trimesters 1 & 2 to assist the student in translating nurse anesthesia principles into clinical practice. Each student will shadow a CRNA in the operating room a minimum of 3 times for 4 hours each time during the trimester. Following each shadow, the student will complete a reflection assignment on the experience.
