HMNT 410 - Health Humanities Capstone (1)Prerequisites: RSCH 400 Capstone hours are a culminating experience designed to cap off the integration of students’ educational experience and provide a transition to graduate education. Capstone hours represent time spent with a relevant faculty member to move a research proposal created in RSCH 400 to implementation. Students will meet one-with-one, or in small groups where relevant, with an assigned faculty member. Meetings will occur on a regular basis, per the faculty member and student’s schedules, and this time will be used to implement primary research, analyze data, and write up the results in a format that is appropriate to a selected audience. Students enrolled in the B.S.H.H.S.S. degree program must complete two capstone hours in the relevant field (health humanities or social sciences) over two trimesters (one credit per trimester) in order to complete the degree.
