BSCT 125 - Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (2)

Prerequisites: ENG 102 , STAT 205  or higher
This course introduces the fundamental concepts and tools of geospatial analytics, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, spatial data analysis, and visualization techniques. Students will explore the principles of spatial thinking using real-world applications through practical exercises. The course emphasizes hands-on experience with geospatial software and datasets to analyze spatial patterns and trends, solve problems, and communicate insights effectively.
