NRSG 220 - Pediatric Nursing (3)

Prerequisites: BIOL 102 , BIOL 225 , RELP 103 , RELP 243 , NRSG 105 , NRSG 130 , NRSG 135 , NRSG 140 , NRSG 150 , NRSG 170 , NRSG 180 , NRSG 205  
Corequisite: NRSG 210 , NRSG 225 , NRSG 275  
The course focuses on the application of the nursing process related to environmental stressors. ASN students will provide nursing care for the child and family experiencing stressors affecting the physiological, psychological, sociocultural, developmental, and spiritual variables. Nursing care will be provided in the acute care environment. This course includes 2.2 credit hours of theory (33 clock hours), and 0.8 credit hours of clinical (36 clock hours).
