BSCT 326 - Big Data, AI, and Ethics (2)

Prerequisites: BSCT 125  
This course is restricted to students officially accepted into Data Analytics academic offerings, including approved programs, minors, or certificates.

This course explores the role of big data and artificial intelligence (AI) in transforming various industries, with a strong emphasis on ethical considerations. Students will examine how large-scale data is collected, analyzed, and applied to drive decision-making, optimize operations, and enhance innovation. Key topics include machine learning applications, data privacy and security, algorithmic bias, and the ethical challenges of AI-driven decision-making. Through case studies and hands-on exercises, students will develop a critical understanding of how to responsibly use big data and AI while ensuring ethical integrity and equitable solutions.
