NRSG 145 - Family Nursing (4)

Prerequisites: NRSG 106, NRSG 106L, NRSG 125, NRSG 125C, NRSG 125L
Corequisite: NRSG 145C
This course extends the foundation established in prior nursing courses, enabling students to acquire and apply nursing principles in the context of caring for women, children, and infants. Introduces pharmacology related to the actions of drugs, therapeutic and adverse effects, and food and interactions of these drugs used to treat various maternal, child, and infant conditions. This course will have 4 cr hr didactic (60 clock hours) and 2 cr hr lab (60 clock hours).
